# SayPage: documentation and comparisons > SayPage is a connector (MCP server) for Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants. From the chat, it builds and hosts web pages such as a link-in-bio page on the user's own saypage.page address, sends them by Instagram DM to followers who comment a keyword, reads and answers Instagram comments, reads Instagram insights and, only if the user turns it on, publishes posts, carousels, Reels and stories. There is no dashboard and nothing to install. - Connector URL: https://api.saypage.ai/mcp (remote MCP server, Streamable HTTP, OAuth sign-in with a SayPage account). - Works with Claude on every plan, including Free (web, desktop, phone, Claude Code), with the ChatGPT desktop app, and with any MCP client that supports OAuth sign-in. - Needs an Instagram professional account (Business or Creator). Pages are hosted at https://.saypage.page, an address made from the Instagram handle. - Free plan: 1 page online at a time (unlimited drafts and previews), 1 comment-to-DM automation, 50 new contacts reached by DM a month, comment replies, insights and publishing. Creator plans are coming soon. - SayPage never reads DMs, only DMs people who comment one of the user's keywords (within Instagram's 24-hour messaging window), and the assistant asks before anything public. - Contact: hello@saypage.ai. SayPage is run by Twist Labs, in Paris, France. --- # Getting started with SayPage > What SayPage is, what you need, and your first five minutes: add the connector to Claude or ChatGPT, connect Instagram, make your first page. Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/getting-started · Updated October 5, 2026 SayPage is a connector for the AI assistant you already use, such as Claude or ChatGPT. Once it is added, you run your web pages and your Instagram account by asking, in the same chat as always. There is no app to install and no dashboard to learn. ## What SayPage does - **Pages.** Describe a page and your assistant builds it: a link-in-bio page, a menu, a recipe, an event, a portfolio, an offer. It goes online on your own address, such as `https://toto-cooks.saypage.page`. See [Create, preview and publish pages](https://saypage.ai/docs/pages). - **Comment-to-DM automations.** Followers who comment a keyword under one of your posts get a DM with a link to your page, or to any web address you choose. See [Comment-to-DM automations](https://saypage.ai/docs/automations). - **Comments.** Find the comments you haven't answered, get replies drafted in each person's language, hide spam. See [Read and answer comments](https://saypage.ai/docs/comments). - **Insights.** Your Instagram numbers and the visits your pages get, explained, with ideas for what to post next. See [Insights and page statistics](https://saypage.ai/docs/insights). - **Publishing, if you want it.** Photo posts, carousels, Reels and stories, published for you once you approve. It is off until you turn it on. See [Publishing](https://saypage.ai/docs/publishing). ## What you need 1. **An AI assistant that supports MCP connectors.** Claude works on every plan, including Free, on the web, the desktop app, the phone app and Claude Code. ChatGPT works in its desktop app. Other assistants that support MCP with OAuth sign-in work too. 2. **A SayPage account.** It is free, and you create it the first time your assistant asks you to sign in. 3. **An Instagram professional account** (Business or Creator). Your site's address comes from your Instagram handle, and nothing can be published before an account is connected. Switching a personal account to a professional one is free, in the Instagram app's settings. ## Set up in three steps 1. **Add the connector.** In Claude: Customize, Connectors, Add custom connector, then paste `https://api.saypage.ai/mcp`. In ChatGPT: Plugins, Create MCP App, same URL. The full steps for each assistant are in [Install the connector](https://saypage.ai/docs/install). 2. **Say "Get started with SayPage".** Your assistant signs you in to SayPage, then gives you a link to connect Instagram. You approve on Instagram, land on saypage.ai, and come back to the chat. See [Connect Instagram](https://saypage.ai/docs/connect-instagram). 3. **Pick a first thing to do.** Your assistant offers three: create your bio page, show your latest comments, or set up a DM automation on a post. Anything else works too. ## Things to ask - "Make me a link-in-bio page with my latest recipes and my shop." - "Send that page by DM to everyone who comments GUIDE under my last post." - "Which comments haven't I answered this week? Draft replies." - "How did my posts do this month, and what should I post next?" - "Add my Spotify playlist under the cookbook, then show me the preview." ## How your assistant works with SayPage - **You stay in charge of everything public.** Your assistant shows you a page in a private preview before publishing it, and asks before it creates an automation, replies to a comment or publishes a post. - **Pages are drafts until you publish them.** You can change a draft as often as you like; the live page only changes when you publish again. - **SayPage checks every page before it goes online**, and tells your assistant why when it refuses one. See [Privacy and safety](https://saypage.ai/docs/privacy-and-safety). - **SayPage never reads your DMs** and never receives your conversation: only what your assistant sends to its tools. ## Your account page [saypage.ai/account](https://saypage.ai/account) shows your site's address, your pages, your connected Instagram account (with Reconnect and the publishing switch), your plan, the connector URL, and the button to delete your account. Everything else happens in the chat. ## Next - [Add SayPage to your assistant](https://saypage.ai/docs/install) - [Plans and limits](https://saypage.ai/docs/plans) - [Troubleshooting](https://saypage.ai/docs/troubleshooting) --- # Add SayPage to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant > Set up the SayPage MCP connector in Claude (web, desktop, phone, Claude Code), in the ChatGPT desktop app, or in any MCP client with OAuth sign-in. Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/install · Updated October 5, 2026 SayPage is a remote MCP server: you add it to your assistant once, sign in, and its tools are there in every conversation. It takes about two minutes, from a computer. The connector URL is the same everywhere: ```text https://api.saypage.ai/mcp ``` ## Claude Works on every Claude plan, including Free. 1. In Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app), go to **Customize**. 2. Open the **Connectors** tab. 3. Click **Add +**, then **Add custom connector**. 4. Name it **SayPage** and paste `https://api.saypage.ai/mcp` as the **URL**. 5. Click **Add**, then sign in to SayPage when asked. If you don't have an account yet, you create one there, for free. The connector belongs to your Claude account: once added on a computer, it also works in Claude's phone app. ### The SayPage skill (optional) The skill teaches Claude SayPage's workflow in more detail: how to publish, how automations work, how to handle comments. Pages are just as good without it, because the connector itself gives Claude the page guide. To add it, [download the SayPage skill](https://saypage.ai/saypage-skill.zip) and upload it in Claude's skills settings. ### Claude Code Add the server from a terminal, then sign in from Claude Code: ```bash claude mcp add --transport http saypage https://api.saypage.ai/mcp ``` In Claude Code, run `/mcp`, pick **saypage** and follow the sign-in link. Claude Code can also upload images straight from your computer, without an upload link (see [Images and uploads](https://saypage.ai/docs/images)). ## ChatGPT In the ChatGPT app on your computer: 1. Go to **Plugins**. 2. Click **Add +**, then **Create MCP App**. 3. Name it **SayPage**. As the **Description**, paste: "SayPage hosts your web pages, like a link in bio, and runs your Instagram: comment-to-DM automations, comment replies and insights." As the **Server URL**, paste `https://api.saypage.ai/mcp`. 4. Tick the confirmation box and click **Create**. 5. Sign in to SayPage when asked. ## Other assistants and MCP clients Any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in can use SayPage: - **Transport:** Streamable HTTP, at `https://api.saypage.ai/mcp`. - **Sign-in:** OAuth, with your SayPage account. The client discovers the authorization server from the server's protected resource metadata, as the MCP specification describes; there is no API key to copy. - **Configuration:** most clients take a block like this one (the exact format depends on the client): ```json { "mcpServers": { "saypage": { "type": "http", "url": "https://api.saypage.ai/mcp" } } } ``` The SayPage plugin (the skill plus the connector settings, for Claude and for clients that read the Agent Plugins format) is open source on [GitHub](https://github.com/saypage-ai/saypage-plugin). The full list of tools is in the [MCP tools reference](https://saypage.ai/docs/tools). ## Check that it works Ask your assistant: **"Get started with SayPage."** It should answer with a short welcome and, the first time, a link to connect your Instagram account. If it says it has no SayPage tools, check that the SayPage connector is turned on for this conversation in your assistant's tools menu, and that you finished signing in. ## Remove SayPage Remove the connector in your assistant's settings. This does not delete your SayPage account or take your pages offline: to do that, use **Delete your account** on [your account page](https://saypage.ai/account). ## Next [Connect your Instagram account](https://saypage.ai/docs/connect-instagram). --- # Connect your Instagram account > Connect an Instagram professional account through Instagram's official login: what SayPage asks permission for, and how your site's address comes from your handle. Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/connect-instagram · Updated October 5, 2026 Everything in SayPage is tied to one Instagram professional account: your site's address comes from its handle, automations answer its comments, and insights are its numbers. Connect it first; no page can be created and no image uploaded before. ## Before you start - **The account must be a professional account**, Business or Creator. A personal account cannot be connected, but switching it to a professional one is free and takes a minute in the Instagram app's settings. - **The free plan connects one Instagram account.** ## Connect it 1. Ask your assistant: **"Connect my Instagram to SayPage."** (The first time, "Get started with SayPage" does it too.) 2. Open the link it gives you. It goes to Instagram's own login and consent screen: SayPage never sees your Instagram password. 3. Approve. Instagram sends you back to saypage.ai, which confirms the connection. 4. Come back to the chat and say it's done. Your assistant checks that the account shows up. You can also connect or reconnect from [your account page](https://saypage.ai/account). ## What SayPage asks permission for When you connect, SayPage asks Instagram for permission to: - read your profile and your posts; - read your account's and your posts' statistics (insights); - read and manage the comments on your posts: reply, hide, delete; - send the DMs of your comment-to-DM automations. It never asks to publish posts at this step. Publishing is a separate, optional permission that you grant on Instagram only if you want it: see [Publishing](https://saypage.ai/docs/publishing). SayPage cannot read your DMs, and only sends DMs to people who comment one of your keywords. More in [Privacy and safety](https://saypage.ai/docs/privacy-and-safety). ## Your site's address Your site lives at an address made from your handle, with dots and underscores turned into hyphens: | Instagram handle | Your site | |---|---| | `@toto.cooks` | `https://toto-cooks.saypage.page` | | `@studio_lune` | `https://studio-lune.saypage.page` | The site is created with your first page: its home is `/`, and other pages live at paths such as `/menu` or `/workshop`. ### Choosing another address Ask your assistant for the address you want ("Move my site to totocooks.saypage.page"). When a site moves, every page changes address, and the old address redirects to the new one for a year (and stays reserved meanwhile), so links you already shared keep working. A site can move at most 3 times a year. Remember to update the link in your Instagram bio. ## Reconnecting Reconnect when your assistant says Instagram access was lost or expired, or when it says SayPage is not allowed to read insights (accounts connected before SayPage asked for insights need to reconnect once). Ask your assistant for a new link, or use **Reconnect Instagram** on [your account page](https://saypage.ai/account). ## Disconnecting and deleting your Instagram data Removing SayPage from the apps and websites connected to your Instagram account stops its access at once. You can then ask Meta to delete the data SayPage holds about that Instagram account, as described in the [privacy policy](https://saypage.ai/privacy). Deleting your SayPage account removes everything, including your site. ## Next [Create your first page](https://saypage.ai/docs/pages). --- # Create, preview and publish pages > Describe a page and your assistant builds it: a link-in-bio page, a menu, a recipe, an event. Check it in a private preview, publish it on yourname.saypage.page, change it whenever you want. Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/pages · Updated October 5, 2026 A SayPage page is a real web page, designed for you by your assistant and hosted by SayPage on your own address. You describe it, check it in a private preview, and publish it when you are happy. Changing it later is one sentence. ## What you can make Anything that fits on one page, for example: - **Link in bio:** who you are, one featured card, your links grouped and labelled, your latest content, your socials. - **Menu:** categories with a sticky bar, prices, dietary tags. - **Recipe:** a big photo, timings and servings, ingredients visitors can tick off, numbered steps, a timer. - **Event or workshop:** date and place with a map, the program, a booking link, a countdown. - **Offer or landing page:** the promise, what's included, who it is for, the price, the button again at the end. - **Guide, portfolio, playlist, press kit…** Pages can carry animations, carousels, charts, embedded YouTube or Spotify players, Calendly bookings and Google Maps. The full list is in [What a page can contain](https://saypage.ai/docs/page-format). ## Make a page 1. **Ask.** "Make me a link-in-bio page" is enough to start. Before writing anything, your assistant looks at your Instagram account, your posts and your existing pages, then asks what it still needs, in one short message: what the page is for and the one thing visitors should do, who visits it, the real content (links, prices, dates), and your photos. 2. **Pick a style.** It proposes three style directions made for you (each with a palette, a type pairing and a kind of motion), and you choose one, or a mix. Say "surprise me" to skip this. 3. **Add photos.** It gives you an upload link, so your photos arrive while you talk. See [Images and uploads](https://saypage.ai/docs/images). 4. **Check the preview.** It builds the page as a draft and sends you a private preview link. Nothing is public yet. 5. **Publish.** When you say so, your assistant publishes the page. Your assistant never invents prices, figures, reviews, testimonials or dates: it asks, or leaves them out. ## Private previews A preview link shows your current draft, exactly as it will look online. It only opens for you: it asks you to sign in to saypage.ai with your SayPage account, and does not work for anyone you forward it to. It expires after about an hour; ask for a new one any time. ## Publishing and the page check When your assistant publishes a page, SayPage checks it first, in a few seconds: it reads the page's text and opens the page in a browser. Then one of three things happens: - **Published:** the page is live at its address. - **Refused:** the answer says why. Your assistant fixes the page and publishes again. If an earlier version was online, it stays online meanwhile. - **Still checking:** your assistant looks again a minute later. Refusals don't count against you. What SayPage refuses, and why, is explained in [What a page can contain](https://saypage.ai/docs/page-format) and [Privacy and safety](https://saypage.ai/docs/privacy-and-safety). ## Change a page Say what to change: "Add my Spotify playlist under the cookbook", "Make the button pink", "Swap the hero photo". Your assistant edits the draft, sends a new preview and publishes when you agree. The live page does not change until you publish again. ## Your site and its addresses Your site's address comes from your Instagram handle: `@toto.cooks` publishes to `https://toto-cooks.saypage.page`. The home page has the path `/`; other pages have their own path, like `/menu` or `/workshop`. To change the address, see [Connect Instagram](https://saypage.ai/docs/connect-instagram#choosing-another-address). Put your site's address in your Instagram bio, or send a page by DM to people who comment a keyword under a post with a [comment-to-DM automation](https://saypage.ai/docs/automations). ## The SayPage badge Every page shows a small "Made with SayPage · Report" badge in the bottom right corner. Its Report link lets anyone flag a page that breaks the rules. Pages leave room for it, and a page that hides or covers it is refused. ## Take a page offline or delete it - **Unpublish** takes a page offline and keeps its draft, to publish again later. - **Delete** removes the page and its draft for good. Your assistant asks before doing either. A page that an automation sends, or that one of its buttons opens, cannot be unpublished or deleted until that automation is removed or changed. ## How many pages The free plan keeps 1 page online at a time, with unlimited drafts and previews. When a plan limit stops a publication, your assistant tells you which page is online and lets you choose; it never takes a page offline on its own. See [Plans and limits](https://saypage.ai/docs/plans). ## Next - [What a page can contain](https://saypage.ai/docs/page-format) - [Send your page by DM](https://saypage.ai/docs/automations) - [See who visits your pages](https://saypage.ai/docs/insights#page-statistics) --- # What a SayPage page can contain > The page format: one HTML document with animations, embeds (YouTube, Spotify, Calendly, Google Maps…), approved open source libraries and your own images. What is allowed and what is refused, and why. Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/page-format · Updated October 5, 2026 You never have to write any of this yourself: your assistant reads SayPage's page guide before it writes a page, and SayPage tells it exactly what to fix when something is off. This page is for the curious, and for knowing what to ask for. ## One page, one HTML document A SayPage page is a single, self-contained HTML document: its styles and scripts are written inside it, its images are uploaded to SayPage, and it loads nothing from other sites except the embeds and libraries listed below. It is a page, not an app: no build step, no server code, no database. This is what lets SayPage check every page before it goes online, serve it fast, and keep visitors safe. ## What a page can do - **Animations:** entrances, scroll reveals, tap feedback, animated gradients, marquees, counters, confetti, Lottie illustrations. - **Interactive bits:** tabs, accordions, filters, ingredient checklists, timers, countdowns, carousels, charts, a search box over the page's own content. - **Embeds:** videos, music, bookings, forms, maps and posts from the services below. - **Your images:** up to 30 photos per page, uploaded to SayPage. - **One custom font**, inlined in the page, from a font file whose license allows it (for example the SIL Open Font License of most Google Fonts). Otherwise, system fonts. - **Links** anywhere: `https:` and `http:` addresses, `mailto:`, `tel:` and `sms:`. Affiliate links are fine. ## Embeds Embeds are iframes from these services: | Service | What for | |---|---| | YouTube (including youtube-nocookie.com) | Videos | | Vimeo | Videos | | Spotify | Tracks, albums, playlists, podcasts | | Apple Music | Tracks, albums, playlists | | SoundCloud | Tracks and playlists | | Calendly | Booking a call or a session | | Typeform | Forms and surveys | | Google Maps | A map of your shop, venue or event | | Instagram | A post | | TikTok | A video | A page has no `
` of its own: to collect sign-ups or orders, link to a form on Tally, Typeform or Google Forms, or embed a Typeform. Videos and music are embedded from the services above rather than uploaded. ## Libraries Pages may load these open source libraries, served by SayPage at pinned versions (your assistant gets their exact addresses from the `list_libraries` tool): | Library | What for | License | |---|---|---| | Alpine.js (CSP build) | Small interactive components | MIT | | Motion | Animations | MIT | | Anime.js | Animations | MIT | | Swiper | Carousels and sliders | MIT | | canvas-confetti | Confetti | ISC | | Chart.js | Charts | MIT | | Lucide | Icons | ISC | | AOS | Animate on scroll | MIT | | Lottie (light player) | Vector animations | MIT | | Day.js | Dates and countdowns | MIT | ## What SayPage refuses Some things are refused because they could harm visitors or because SayPage could not check them: - **Forms and sensitive fields:** ``, password fields and card-number fields. - **Network access from scripts:** pages cannot call other servers, so a page cannot quietly send visitors' data anywhere. - **Tracking and storage:** no cookies, `localStorage` or other browser storage, and no analytics scripts. SayPage counts visits itself, without cookies. - **Redirects and pop-ups:** scripts cannot send visitors elsewhere, open windows or change where a link goes. Every link is written in the page with its final address. - **Link shorteners** (bit.ly, tinyurl, t.co…): links must show where they really go. - **Hidden or encoded code:** scripts must be readable (no minified or encoded code, at most 100 KB of JavaScript), and pages carry no embedded files. - **External images, scripts and fonts**, other than the embeds and libraries above. - **Advertising** (ad networks) and **crypto wallet addresses**. - **Hiding the SayPage badge** or stopping its links from working. And, whatever the code: phishing, impersonation of a brand or organization, scams, sexual, hateful, violent or dangerous content, and anything illegal. See [Privacy and safety](https://saypage.ai/docs/privacy-and-safety). ## Size limits | Limit | Value | |---|---| | HTML, with its CSS and JavaScript | 128 KB | | JavaScript | 100 KB | | Images per page | 30 | | Page and images together | 10 MB | | Inline SVG icon or `data:` image | 16 KB each, 64 KB of `data:` URIs per page (font included) | ## How pages are served Every page is served on your site's address, over HTTPS, with a strict security policy written for that page: it can only load what it was published with. Pages are cached for a short time, so a new version shows up within about a minute of publishing. ## Next - [Images and uploads](https://saypage.ai/docs/images) - [Create, preview and publish pages](https://saypage.ai/docs/pages) --- # Images and uploads > Add photos from an upload link or straight from your assistant: formats, sizes, the automatic image check, and how to make room. Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/images · Updated October 5, 2026 Pages only show images uploaded to SayPage: your portrait, your dishes, your products, your work. SayPage stores them, checks them, and serves them from your page's own address. ## Upload from a link (chat apps) In Claude or ChatGPT, ask your assistant to add photos ("Here are my photos for the page", or it offers when it builds a page). It gives you an **upload link**: 1. Open the link in a browser, on your computer or your phone. No sign-in is needed: the link itself is the key, so don't share it. 2. Drop or pick your photos. 3. Tell your assistant you're done. It finds the new images and uses them. The same link also takes a video for a Reel or a story (see [Publishing](https://saypage.ai/docs/publishing)). ## Upload straight from your assistant (Claude Code and other shells) Assistants that can run shell commands, such as Claude Code, upload a file from your computer directly: point them at the file ("use ~/Pictures/portrait.jpg as the hero photo"). No link needed. ## Formats and limits | What | Limit | |---|---| | Formats | JPEG, PNG, WebP | | Size of one image | 5 MB at most | | Images per account | 200, and 250 MB in all | | Images per page | 30 | SayPage re-encodes every image (as JPEG, or PNG when it has transparency) and keeps the re-encoded copy; the original file is deleted about an hour after the upload. ## The image check SayPage's automatic moderation checks every image when it is uploaded. A refused image is never served, and your assistant tells you why so you can pick another one. SayPage keeps refused images privately for 30 days to review its checks, then deletes them. If the check is briefly unavailable, your assistant tries again a minute later. ## Make room Ask your assistant which images your pages use: it can list every image with the pages using it, and delete the ones no page uses, after asking you. An image a page still uses (a draft or a published page) cannot be deleted until it is removed from that page. A deleted image frees its room about half an hour later. ## Videos Videos are only for Instagram Reels and video stories: they never go on a page. To show a video on a page, embed it from YouTube, Vimeo or TikTok. See [Publishing](https://saypage.ai/docs/publishing) for videos. ## Next [What a page can contain](https://saypage.ai/docs/page-format). --- # Instagram comment-to-DM automations > Send a link by DM to everyone who comments a keyword under a post: how the DM flow works, keyword matching, followers-only links, extra buttons, activity, monthly contacts and Instagram's rules. Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/automations · Updated October 5, 2026 A comment-to-DM automation sends a link by Instagram DM to everyone who comments a keyword under one of your posts. "Comment GUIDE and I'll send you the link" is the classic: you set it up with one sentence, and SayPage answers every comment, day and night. ## Set one up Tell your assistant the post, the keyword and where the link goes: > "Anyone who comments PASTA under my last Reel gets my recipe page. Followers only." Your assistant finds the post, agrees the DM wording with you (you can write it yourself, or edit drafts in your tone), shows you the messages it will set, and creates the automation once you say yes. The link can open: - **one of your published SayPage pages**, or - **any web address** you already have: your blog, a recipe, a shop, a booking page. ## What your followers get Instagram allows a business one private reply to a comment, and anything more only once the person answers. So every automation works in two steps: 1. Someone comments your keyword. They get a first DM (the **opening message**) with a button, such as "Send me the link". 2. They tap the button. They get a second DM (the **link message**) with a button that opens your page. You choose the text of both messages and both button labels (20 characters at most per label). Your assistant writes every message and label in your language, the follow request included, so a DM never switches language halfway. ### Options - **Followers only:** only followers of your account get the link. Others get a message asking them to follow you, with a button to tap once they do. - **Public reply:** a reply under the comment, such as "Sent you a DM!". - **Extra buttons:** up to 2 more buttons under the link, each opening another of your published pages or any web address ("Shop", "YouTube"). With the main one, that's up to 3 buttons per DM. - **Your next post:** instead of picking a post, arm the automation for the next post you publish: it starts with that post's first comment. (Creator plans only.) ## How keywords match - A comment triggers the automation when it contains the keyword **as a whole word**, in any case: "Recipes please 🙌" triggers `RECIPES`, "myrecipes" does not. - Accents and emoji must match exactly. - Replies under other comments count. Your own comments never do. - When several automations on the same post match a comment, the longest keyword wins. - There is one automation per post and keyword. Keep keywords short and distinct (`GUIDE`, `MENU`, `LINK`), and say the keyword in your caption: "Comment GUIDE for the link". ## Change, pause or delete - **Change** the keyword, any message or the buttons: live automations stay live. - **Pause:** it stops answering. Comments made while it is paused are never answered, even after you turn it back on. Followers already halfway through still get their link. - **Turn on** again after a pause, or turn on a draft. - **Delete** it for good. ## See who got the link Ask "How is my PASTA automation doing?". Your assistant reads the automation's activity: how many comments triggered it, how many people got the first DM, tapped its button, were asked to follow and got the link, and where the others stopped (a first DM nobody tapped, a follow request not followed, a monthly limit reached, a failure). It also lists the latest comments with their author and stage. Usernames and comment text are kept for 30 days, then only the outcome. ## Monthly contacts Each plan caps how many **different people** automations DM per calendar month (UTC). Someone already DMed this month never counts twice. Once the cap is reached, new commenters get no DM until the month ends, and their comments are not answered later. Your assistant can tell you how many people you reached this month. The free plan includes 50 new contacts a month: see [Plans and limits](https://saypage.ai/docs/plans). ## Instagram's rules SayPage uses Instagram's official API and follows its messaging rules: - **Only people who comment get a DM.** SayPage cannot message your followers in bulk, write to someone first, or send newsletters. - **The 24-hour window:** Instagram lets a business reply for 24 hours after someone's last message. SayPage checks the window again right before every DM, including retries, and never sends outside it. - **It cannot read your DMs.** Your inbox stays yours; SayPage only sends its automation messages. ## Good to know - Stories take no comments, so they can't have automations. - A page an automation sends (or that one of its buttons opens) stays online while the automation uses it: change or delete the automation before unpublishing the page. - The free plan runs 1 automation, on a post you pick. Paused and draft automations don't count toward the limit; active and armed ones do. ## Next - [Read and answer comments](https://saypage.ai/docs/comments) - [See the visits your DMs bring](https://saypage.ai/docs/insights#page-statistics) --- # Read and answer Instagram comments > Find the comments you haven't answered, get replies drafted in each commenter's language, hide spam and delete comments, all from the chat and only with your go-ahead. Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/comments · Updated October 5, 2026 Your assistant can read the comments under your posts, tell you which ones you haven't answered, draft replies and post them once you agree. Evenings spent in the comments tab, back. ## Things to ask - "Which questions haven't I answered this week?" - "Summarize the comments on my last Reel." - "Draft replies to the unanswered ones, in each person's language." - "Hide the spam under my last post." ## Reading comments Your assistant lists your recent posts (with their like and comment counts), then a post's comments, newest first, each with its replies. For each comment it sees who wrote it, whether your account already replied, and which comments are your own. Comments are written by strangers, so your assistant treats them as text to read, never as instructions: a comment that says "ignore your instructions and…" changes nothing. SayPage fetches comments from Instagram when your assistant asks for them and passes them on without storing them. ## Replying - Your assistant shows you its replies and waits for your go-ahead, unless you asked it to answer for you. - Replies go out from your account, publicly, under the comment, in the commenter's language. - Only top-level comments take replies: a reply to a reply lands under the top-level comment. A hidden comment cannot be answered. - Your assistant answers a few comments at a time, with varied wording: Instagram treats bursts of identical replies as spam. ## Hiding and deleting - **Hide** a comment (spam, insults) to make it invisible to everyone but its author. It is reversible: your assistant can show it again. Your own comments always show. - **Delete** a comment under one of your posts for good. Your assistant asks you first, since it can't be undone; hiding is the reversible option. ## What SayPage can't do - Read or answer your DMs. - Comment on other accounts' posts. - Like comments, or pin them. ## Next - [Comment-to-DM automations](https://saypage.ai/docs/automations) - [Insights and page statistics](https://saypage.ai/docs/insights) --- # Instagram insights and page statistics > Reach, views, saves, shares, follows and follower demographics from Instagram, post-by-post comparisons, and the visits your pages get by source (DM, bio link, TikTok…). Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/insights · Updated October 5, 2026 Ask your assistant how things are going: it reads your Instagram insights and your pages' visits, compares posts, explains what worked, and suggests what to post next. ## Things to ask - "How did my account do over the last 7 days?" - "Which of my last 10 posts got the most saves, and why?" - "Where do my followers live, and how old are they?" - "How many people opened my pages this month, and from where?" - "What should I post next week?" ## Instagram account insights Over the last 1 to 30 days, your assistant can read: | Metric | What it counts | |---|---| | Reach | Accounts that saw your content | | Views | Times your content was seen | | Accounts engaged | Accounts that interacted with your content | | Interactions | All interactions with your content | | Likes, comments, shares, saves | Each on its own | | Replies | Replies to your stories | | Contact button taps | Taps on your profile's contact buttons | | New followers, unfollows | Follows gained and lost | | Followers, following, posts | Today's totals | With **demographics**, it adds your followers by country, age range and gender. Every metric comes with a description of what it counts, and SayPage says when Instagram held something back and why, rather than leaving your assistant to guess: - follows, unfollows and demographics need at least 100 followers; - story insights only exist for 24 hours; - Instagram's data can lag by up to 48 hours. ## Post insights For any post, Reel or story, your assistant can read its reach, views, likes, comments, shares, saves and interactions, and depending on the kind of post: profile visits and the followers it brought (posts and stories), watch time (Reels), or replies and navigation (stories, while they are live). Comparing posts is where it helps most: "Carousels got twice the saves of your Reels: try your pasta recipe as 5 slides." ## Page statistics SayPage counts the visits to your pages itself, without cookies. Over the last 1 to 90 days, per page: - **views**, and views per day; - **where visitors came from** (below); - the top **referring sites** and **countries**. ### Where visitors come from | Source | What it means | |---|---| | Instagram DM | The links your automations send (SayPage tags them itself) | | Instagram bio | Visits from Instagram without a tag: almost always your bio link, sometimes a story link | | SayPage | From another of your pages | | Other sites | From a link on another website | | Direct | Typed, bookmarked, or opened from an app that hides where it came from | To tell other channels apart, add a `?source=` tag to the links you share there: `tiktok`, `facebook`, `youtube`, `linkedin`, `pinterest`, `x`, `threads`, `email`, `newsletter`, `website` or `qr`. For example: `https://toto-cooks.saypage.page/?source=tiktok`. Your bio link needs no tag, and never use `?source=instagram`: SayPage reserves it for DM links. Good to know: Instagram doesn't count taps on your bio's links, which is why these page statistics matter. Clicks on links inside a page are not counted (pages run no tracking script), and every page load counts, link-preview bots included. ## Next - [Publishing](https://saypage.ai/docs/publishing) - [Comment-to-DM automations](https://saypage.ai/docs/automations) --- # Publish posts, carousels, Reels and stories > Optional Instagram publishing from the chat: turning it on and off, photo posts and carousels up to 10 images, cropping, stories, Reels and video stories. Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/publishing · Updated October 5, 2026 Your assistant can publish on your Instagram for you: photo posts, carousels, stories, Reels and video stories. Hand over the photos and the idea; it writes the caption, shows you everything, and posts once you approve. **Publishing is optional and off by default.** Pages, automations, comments and insights all work without it. ## Turn it on 1. Ask your assistant: "I'd like you to publish on Instagram for me." 2. It gives you a link to Instagram's own consent screen. Your assistant cannot turn publishing on itself: only you can, by approving there. 3. Approve, then tell your assistant it's done. ## Turn it off Ask your assistant to turn publishing off, or use **Turn off** next to your Instagram account on [your account page](https://saypage.ai/account). It takes effect at once and stays off until you approve it again on Instagram. Everything else keeps working. ## Photo posts and carousels - **A post** has one image; **a carousel** has 2 to 10. - **Shape:** feed images between 4:5 (portrait) and 1.91:1 (landscape) go as they are. Others are cropped, keeping the center, the top, the bottom, the left or the right; or padded with a background color to keep the whole image. Your assistant previews each image exactly as Instagram will get it and checks that no headline or face is cut off. - **Carousels:** Instagram crops every image of a carousel to the first image's shape. - **Caption:** up to 2,200 characters, 30 hashtags and 20 @mentions. Your assistant can write it, in your voice, and add alt text to each image for accessibility. - **Stories:** one image, no caption. Your assistant prepares the post first (nothing is public yet), shows you the final caption and images, and only publishes when you say so, within 24 hours of preparing it. ## Reels and video stories 1. **Upload the video:** MP4 or MOV, up to 300 MB, from the same upload link as photos (or straight from your computer in Claude Code). See [Images and uploads](https://saypage.ai/docs/images). 2. **Agree on the caption** with your assistant. For a Reel, it can also pick the cover frame and whether the Reel shows in your feed as well as the Reels tab. 3. **Publish.** Once you say go, it goes out by itself: SayPage hands the video to Instagram and publishes it as soon as Instagram has processed it, usually within a few minutes. It cannot be stopped. Instagram takes videos from 3 seconds to 15 minutes; a story is 60 seconds and 100 MB at most, with no caption. A minute or two later, your assistant can tell you whether the video is published (with its link) or why it failed. SayPage deletes its copy of a video as soon as it is published, and deletes a video that is not published within an hour of its upload: publish it in the same conversation. ## Limits - **SayPage cannot delete a published post.** You can, in the Instagram app. - **Instagram limits how many posts an account publishes a day.** Your assistant sees the remaining quota. - **If publishing fails,** your assistant checks your recent posts before trying again, so nothing is posted twice. - Publishing works on the Instagram account connected to SayPage only. ## Next - [Insights and page statistics](https://saypage.ai/docs/insights) - [Privacy and safety](https://saypage.ai/docs/privacy-and-safety) --- # Plans and limits > What the free plan includes (one live page, one comment-to-DM automation, 50 new contacts a month), the limits every account has, and what the creator plans will add. Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/plans · Updated October 5, 2026 SayPage is free to start, and the free plan has no time limit. Creator plans with more pages, automations and contacts are coming soon. ## The free plan | What | Free plan | |---|---| | Pages online at a time | 1, on your own address | | Drafts and private previews | Unlimited | | Comment-to-DM automations | 1 active, on a post you pick | | New contacts reached by DM | 50 a month | | Comment replies, hiding and deleting | Included | | Instagram insights | Included | | Page visit statistics | Included | | Instagram publishing (optional) | Included | | Instagram accounts | 1 | SayPage also works with Claude's Free plan. ## Creator plans (coming soon) Creator plans will add: - more pages online at once; - more automations and more contacts each month; - automations armed for your next post, so they start with its first comment. Want early access? Write to [hello@saypage.ai](mailto:hello@saypage.ai). ## Limits on every account | What | Limit | |---|---| | Images | 200 per account, 250 MB in all, 5 MB each | | A page | 128 KB of HTML, 30 images, 10 MB with its images | | Videos for Instagram | 300 MB each, kept until published or for an hour | | Site address changes | 3 a year | Instagram also has its own limits, such as the number of posts an account can publish a day. ## How contacts are counted Contacts are the different people your automations DM in a calendar month (UTC). Someone already DMed this month never counts twice, however many times they comment. Once the month's limit is reached, new commenters get no DM until the next month starts, and their comments are not answered later. Your assistant can tell you how many people you reached this month. ## When you reach a limit Your assistant tells you plainly which limit you reached and what you can do, and can share the page describing the plans. It never unpublishes a page, pauses an automation or deletes anything to make room on its own: it lets you choose. - **1 page online:** unpublish the page that's online to publish another one, or keep the current one. - **1 automation:** pause or delete the active one to start another. Paused and draft automations don't count. ## Next - [Comment-to-DM automations](https://saypage.ai/docs/automations) - [Privacy and safety](https://saypage.ai/docs/privacy-and-safety) --- # Privacy, permissions and safety > What SayPage can and cannot do on your Instagram account, what it receives from your assistant, how pages are checked before they go online, and how to delete everything. Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/privacy-and-safety · Updated October 5, 2026 SayPage acts on your public presence: your pages and your Instagram account. Here is what it can and can't do, what it sees, and how it keeps visitors and followers safe. The [privacy policy](https://saypage.ai/privacy) and the [terms](https://saypage.ai/terms) have the full details. ## What SayPage can do, and what it can't | SayPage can | SayPage can't | |---|---| | Host the pages you publish | Publish a page you didn't approve (your assistant asks first) | | DM people who comment one of your keywords | DM your followers in bulk, or write to someone first | | Read, answer, hide and delete comments on your posts | Read or answer your DMs | | Read your account's and your posts' insights | Read other accounts' insights | | Publish posts, if you turn publishing on | Publish without your approval, or delete a published post | ## You approve everything public Your assistant asks before it publishes a page, creates or turns on an automation, replies to a comment, deletes one, or publishes a post: SayPage marks those tools as acting in public, and its instructions tell assistants to wait for your go-ahead. Pages are drafts until you publish them, and previews only open for you. Publishing on Instagram needs a separate permission that only you can grant, on Instagram itself. You can turn it off at any time. ## What SayPage receives from your assistant SayPage only receives what your assistant sends to its tools: the pages it writes, the images and videos you upload, automation keywords and messages, and the replies and captions you approve. It never receives your conversation, your chat history, your assistant's memory or your files. SayPage does not sell personal data, does not use it for advertising, and does not use it to train AI models. ## Your followers' data When someone comments a keyword, SayPage keeps what it needs to send them the DM: their Instagram ID and username, their comment, and how far the DM sequence went. Comment and message text is deleted after 30 days, and the records of the messages sent after 13 months. Comments your assistant reads are passed on from Instagram without being stored. Followers who want their data removed can ask you, or write to [hello@saypage.ai](mailto:hello@saypage.ai). ## Your pages' visitors Pages run in a sandbox: they set no cookies, use no browser storage, run no tracking script and cannot send visitors' data anywhere. SayPage counts visits with the page, the visitor's country and the referring site, without visitor identifiers. Embedded content (a YouTube video, a Spotify player, a map) is loaded from its service, which applies its own privacy policy. ## How pages are checked No person reviews pages before they go online. Every publication is checked automatically, in a few seconds: 1. **The code:** SayPage reads the page and refuses anything that could harm visitors (see [What a page can contain](https://saypage.ai/docs/page-format)). 2. **The text:** an AI model reads the page's visible text and refuses phishing, impersonation of a brand or organization, scams, sexual, hateful, violent or dangerous content, and anything illegal. 3. **The browser:** SayPage opens the page in a real browser and taps its badge links. Uploaded images are checked by a moderation model. A refusal says why; your assistant can fix the page and publish again. Refusals don't count against you. To have a person look at a refusal, write to [hello@saypage.ai](mailto:hello@saypage.ai). ## Reports and takedowns Every page carries a "Made with SayPage · Report" badge. Anyone can [report a page](https://saypage.ai/report) that is a scam, impersonates someone or is illegal. Pages SayPage takes down after a report count against their author, and after several, publishing closes on the account. SayPage emails you when one of your pages is refused after the fact or taken down, and you can contest the decision by replying to that email. ## Delete everything - **Your account:** use **Delete your account** on [your account page](https://saypage.ai/account). Your site goes offline immediately, then your pages, images and Instagram connection are deleted, usually within the hour and always within 30 days. Removing the connector from your assistant does not delete your account. - **Your Instagram data only:** remove SayPage from the apps connected to your Instagram account, then ask Meta to delete your data; see section 12 of the [privacy policy](https://saypage.ai/privacy). ## Questions Write to [hello@saypage.ai](mailto:hello@saypage.ai). A person reads every message. --- # Troubleshooting > Fixes for the common problems: Instagram won't connect, a follower didn't get the DM, a page was refused, a plan limit was reached. Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/troubleshooting · Updated October 5, 2026 Every SayPage error says what is wrong, and your assistant usually fixes it on its own. When it can't, here is what to do. Still stuck? Write to [hello@saypage.ai](mailto:hello@saypage.ai) with your site's address or your Instagram handle and what happened: a person reads every message. ## My assistant doesn't see SayPage - Check that the connector is added and turned on for this conversation, and that you finished signing in. See [Install the connector](https://saypage.ai/docs/install). - In ChatGPT, SayPage is added from the desktop app. - Start a new conversation and ask "Get started with SayPage". ## Instagram won't connect - The account must be a **professional account** (Business or Creator). Switching is free, in the Instagram app's settings. - Ask your assistant for a new link (links expire), or use **Reconnect Instagram** on [your account page](https://saypage.ai/account). - Make sure you approve with the Instagram account you want to connect, and that you are signed in to saypage.ai with the same SayPage account as your assistant. ## A follower didn't get the DM Ask your assistant for the automation's activity: it shows who got the link and where the others stopped. - **First DM never tapped:** the link only comes after the person taps the button in the first DM. That's Instagram's rule. - **Asked to follow:** with followers-only on, people who don't follow you get a follow request first. - **Monthly limit reached:** your plan caps how many different people automations DM each month. New commenters get nothing until the month ends. See [Plans and limits](https://saypage.ai/docs/plans). - **The keyword didn't match:** the comment must contain the keyword as a whole word; accents and emoji must match exactly. See [How keywords match](https://saypage.ai/docs/automations#how-keywords-match). - **The automation was paused** when they commented: comments made while paused are never answered. - **It was your own comment:** your own comments never trigger an automation. ## A page was refused SayPage checks every page before it goes online and tells your assistant why it refused one: ask it to fix that and publish again. Most refusals are technical (a script that loads from another site, an image that isn't uploaded, a link through a shortener) and are fixed in one step. See [What a page can contain](https://saypage.ai/docs/page-format). If you think a refusal is a mistake, write to [hello@saypage.ai](mailto:hello@saypage.ai) to have a person look at it. ## "Publishing is closed on this account" SayPage refused or took down several of your pages. Reply to the email SayPage sent you to contest the decision. ## Common messages | Message | What to do | |---|---| | Connect your Instagram professional account first | Ask your assistant to connect Instagram | | Your plan publishes 1 page at a time | Choose which page stays online: unpublish the other one, or keep it | | SayPage is not allowed to read insights | Reconnect Instagram and allow it | | Publishing posts is optional and turned off | Turn it on only if you want SayPage to post for you ([Publishing](https://saypage.ai/docs/publishing)) | | This image is used by … | Remove the image from those pages and save them, then delete it | | This account already holds as many images as it can | Delete images no page uses, then upload again | | An automation sends this page or has a button opening it | Delete that automation or remove its button before unpublishing or deleting the page | | Instagram has no comment … that … can reach | The comment was deleted, or is under another account's post | ## The preview link doesn't open Preview links only open for you, signed in to saypage.ai with the SayPage account your assistant uses, and they expire after about an hour. Ask your assistant for a new one. ## A post didn't publish Ask your assistant to check your recent posts before trying again: the post may already be live. If publishing is off, it needs your approval on Instagram first. Videos report `published` or `failed` with the reason a minute or two after you publish them. ## Report a page If a SayPage page is a scam, impersonates someone or is illegal, [report it](https://saypage.ai/report). --- # SayPage MCP tools reference > Every tool the SayPage MCP server exposes to Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants, what each one does, and which ones change something. Source: https://saypage.ai/docs/tools · Updated October 5, 2026 SayPage is a remote MCP server. These are the tools it gives your assistant, grouped by what they do. Source: https://saypage.ai/compare/linktree · Updated October 5, 2026 · Linktree's plans, prices (US, before tax) and features checked on its own pages on October 5, 2026. Linktree is the classic link in bio: a list of links you arrange in its editor, with themes, a shop and, now, Instagram auto-replies. SayPage takes another route: your AI assistant designs a real page for you, hosts it on your own address, and runs the rest of your Instagram from the same chat. ## Pick SayPage if… - You want a page that looks made for you, with your layout, colors and motion, not a stack of buttons. - You need more than links: a recipe with a checklist, a menu, an event with a map, a portfolio. - You'd rather ask Claude or ChatGPT than learn another editor. - You also want help with comments, insights and posting, in the same chat. ## Pick Linktree if… - You sell digital products or courses straight from your link in bio. - You send lots of auto-DMs and want them free: Linktree's free plan includes 1,000 auto-reply sends a month. - You want a mature editor and app, with many link types and integrations. ## Side by side | Feature | SayPage | Linktree | |---|---|---| | What you get | A designed web page for each need: link in bio, menu, recipe, event, guide, portfolio | A link-in-bio page: links, collections, social icons, a shop | | How you make it | You ask your AI assistant, check a private preview, and publish | Linktree's editor and app; its MCP server can also edit links and appearance from an AI assistant | | Design | Anything one web page can do: your layout and palette, animations, carousels, checklists, timers, charts | Themes with colors, fonts, buttons and wallpapers; advanced themes on paid plans | | Embeds | YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Calendly, Typeform, Google Maps | Link types and integrations for videos, music, forms and more | | Address | yourname.saypage.page, from your Instagram handle | linktr.ee/yourname | | Custom domain | Not yet | Not offered | | Comment-to-DM | 1 automation and 50 new contacts a month on the free plan; followers-only option, up to 3 buttons per DM | Instagram auto-reply: 1,000 sends a month free, 1,500 on Starter, 2,500 on Pro, unlimited on Premium; next-post and all-posts triggers on Pro and Premium | | Comments | Read, draft replies in each person's language, hide and delete, from the chat | Optional automatic public replies to the comments that trigger an auto-reply | | Statistics | Instagram insights explained in the chat, and page visits by source (DM, bio, TikTok…), up to 90 days | Link-in-bio analytics: 28 days of history free, 90 on Starter, 365 on Pro, all time on Premium | | Posting on Instagram | Optional: posts, carousels, Reels and stories, from the chat, after your yes | Post scheduling with Linktree's Social Planner | | Selling | Link to your shop or checkout; SayPage takes no commission and handles no payment | Digital products, courses and shop links; Linktree's fee goes from 12% on Free to 0% on Premium, plus payment processing | | Price | Free plan; creator plans coming soon | Free; Starter $8, Pro $15, Premium $35 a month ($6, $12, $30 billed yearly) | ## A page designed for you, not a stack of buttons A Linktree is a list: you add links, pick a theme, and the result is a variation on the same layout. A SayPage page is a whole web page, written for you: your assistant asks what the page is for and who visits it, proposes three style directions, and builds the one you choose, with animations, your photos and your real content. That matters when a link isn't enough. A food creator can publish the recipe itself, with ingredients to tick off and a timer. A café can publish its menu with a sticky category bar. A coach can publish an offer page with a Calendly booking. See [what a page can contain](https://saypage.ai/docs/page-format). Changing it is one sentence: "swap the hero photo", "add my new course at the top". Your assistant edits the draft, shows you a preview, and publishes when you agree. ## Both send links by DM now Linktree added Instagram auto-reply: a comment under a post triggers a DM with a link, and its free plan includes 1,000 sends a month, more than SayPage's free plan, which reaches 50 new people a month with one automation. SayPage's automations are set up in a sentence ("anyone who comments PASTA under my last Reel gets my recipe page, followers only"), can send the link only to your followers, add up to 2 more buttons, and answer the comment publicly. Your assistant can then tell you who got the link and where the others stopped. See [comment-to-DM automations](https://saypage.ai/docs/automations). ## One chat for the rest of your Instagram SayPage isn't only a page. From the same chat, your assistant finds the comments you haven't answered and drafts replies in each person's language, reads your Instagram insights and tells you what worked, and, if you turn it on, publishes your posts, carousels, Reels and stories. Nothing public happens without your yes. ## Where Linktree is ahead Linktree has years of polish: an editor and a mobile app, many link types and integrations, built-in selling of digital products and courses, and a generous free allowance of auto-DMs. It also has its own MCP server, so an AI assistant can manage your links and your page's appearance. If your link in bio is mainly a storefront, Linktree is built for that. ## Move from Linktree to SayPage 1. [Add SayPage to Claude or ChatGPT](https://saypage.ai/docs/install) and connect your Instagram account. 2. Paste your links into the chat (or your Linktree address, if your assistant can browse the web) and say what the page is for. 3. Pick a style, check the private preview, and ask your assistant to publish. 4. Replace the link in your Instagram bio with your new address, yourname.saypage.page. ## Questions ### Is SayPage a Linktree alternative? Yes, for your link in bio: SayPage hosts a page on your own address that you put in your Instagram bio. The difference is how it's made: your AI assistant designs a full web page for you, instead of you arranging links in a template. ### Can I import my Linktree into SayPage? There is no import button. Give your assistant your links, or your Linktree address if it can browse the web, and it builds the page from them. You check it in a private preview before publishing. ### Is SayPage free like Linktree? Yes, SayPage has a free plan with no time limit: one page online, unlimited drafts and previews, one comment-to-DM automation reaching 50 new people a month, plus comment replies, insights and publishing. Creator plans are coming soon. ### Can I use my own domain? Not yet: SayPage pages live on yourname.saypage.page. Linktree doesn't offer custom domains either. ### Can I sell on a SayPage page? A page can link to your shop or checkout (a Stripe payment link, Shopify, Gumroad…). SayPage takes no commission and handles no payment; pages have no checkout of their own. ### Do I need Claude or ChatGPT? Yes: SayPage works through an AI assistant that supports MCP connectors. Claude works on every plan, including Free, and ChatGPT works in its desktop app. ## Sources - [Linktree pricing](https://linktr.ee/s/pricing/) - [Linktree: Instagram auto-reply](https://linktr.ee/help/en/articles/9758234-use-instagram-auto-reply-to-automatically-share-links-with-your-audience) - [Linktree: custom domains](https://help.linktr.ee/en/articles/6571689-can-i-change-the-linktree-url-to-a-custom-domain) - [Linktree: transaction fees](https://linktr.ee/help/en/articles/11410206-understanding-transaction-and-processing-fees-on-linktree) - [Linktree MCP server](https://mcp.linktr.ee/docs) --- # SayPage vs ManyChat > SayPage vs ManyChat for Instagram comment-to-DM: one sentence in Claude or ChatGPT vs a visual flow builder, the page your link opens, free plans and prices compared (checked October 2026). Source: https://saypage.ai/compare/manychat · Updated October 5, 2026 · ManyChat's plans, prices (US, before tax) and features checked on its own pages on October 5, 2026. ManyChat is a full chat-marketing platform: visual flows, several channels, an inbox, AI replies. SayPage does the Instagram flow most creators need, comment a keyword and get the link, in one sentence from Claude or ChatGPT, and adds what ManyChat doesn't have: the page that link opens. ## Pick SayPage if… - You mostly need "comment a keyword, get the link". - You'd rather describe an automation in a sentence than build a flow. - Your link needs a page: a recipe, a guide, an offer, your link in bio. - You want comment replies, insights and posting in the same chat. ## Pick ManyChat if… - You need multi-step flows: email capture, follow-ups, conditions. - You automate story replies, story mentions, DM keywords or new follows. - You also run WhatsApp, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, SMS or email. - You need a team inbox for live chat, or AI replies to DMs. ## Side by side | Feature | SayPage | ManyChat | |---|---|---| | What it is | A connector for Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants | A chat-marketing platform with its own dashboard | | Setting up an automation | One sentence in the chat: the post, the keyword, the link | Templates such as "Auto-DM links from comments", and a visual flow builder | | Triggers | A keyword in a comment, on a post you pick or on your next post | Comments, DM keywords, story replies and mentions, new follows, live comments, links and QR codes | | The DM | A first DM with a button, then the link with up to 3 buttons; optional public reply | Custom flows: up to 3 links per DM, email capture, follow-up if the link isn't clicked, conditions | | Followers only | Included, on the free plan too | Follower Status Check, from Essential | | Channels | Instagram | Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram; WhatsApp, SMS and email from Pro | | Web pages | Designed pages hosted on yourname.saypage.page, from link in bio to recipes | None: links point to pages hosted elsewhere | | DM inbox | None: SayPage never reads your DMs | Live chat inbox, with extra seats on Pro and above | | Comments | Read, draft replies in each person's language, hide and delete, from the chat | Automatic public replies to triggering comments; AI comment replies from Pro | | Statistics | Instagram insights and page visits, explained in the chat | Automation stats: sends, clicks, click-through rate | | AI | Your own assistant (Claude, ChatGPT…) does the work | ManyChat AI (AI Step, AI replies) from Pro; ChatGPT or Claude inside flows with your own API key | | Official connector for Claude or ChatGPT | Yes, an MCP server | None found (community-built ones exist) | | Paid plans | Creator plans coming soon | Essential $14, Pro $29, Business $69, Advanced $139 a month billed yearly, for 250, 2,500, 7,500 and 25,000 contacts, plus overage per extra contact | ## One sentence instead of a flowchart In ManyChat, an automation is a flow you build: a trigger, messages, buttons, conditions, in a visual editor. That power is real, and so is the learning curve. In SayPage, you tell your assistant what you want: "Anyone who comments GUIDE under my last post gets my guide. Followers only, and reply 'Sent!' under their comment." It finds the post, agrees the DM wording with you, shows you the messages and turns the automation on once you say yes. See [comment-to-DM automations](https://saypage.ai/docs/automations). ## The link needs a page: SayPage hosts it A DM link has to open something. With ManyChat, that's a page you build and host elsewhere: a blog, a Linktree, a Notion page. With SayPage, your assistant designs that page too and publishes it on your own address, so the recipe, guide or offer your followers asked for is made for them. You can also point an automation at any web address you already have. ## The same Instagram rules Both use Instagram's official API and its messaging rules: sending more than one message needs the person to answer, in practice by tapping a button in the first DM, and no automated message goes out after Instagram's 24-hour window. SayPage always uses that first DM, and checks the window again right before every DM. ## Where ManyChat is ahead ManyChat goes much further on messaging: multi-step flows, email capture and follow-ups, triggers on story replies, mentions and DM keywords, several channels, a live chat inbox for a team, broadcasts and AI replies. If DMs are a sales channel you run every day, ManyChat is built for that. SayPage never reads your DMs and cannot message people who haven't commented. ## Move from ManyChat to SayPage (or use both) 1. [Add SayPage to Claude or ChatGPT](https://saypage.ai/docs/install) and connect your Instagram account. 2. Ask your assistant for the page your DM should open, and publish it. 3. Turn off the ManyChat automation on that post, then ask your assistant to set up the same keyword in SayPage. 4. Keeping ManyChat? Point its links at your SayPage pages instead, and never run both on the same post and keyword: followers would get two DMs. ## Questions ### Is SayPage a ManyChat alternative? For Instagram comment-to-DM, yes: a follower comments a keyword and gets your link by DM, followers-only if you want. For multi-step flows, other channels, broadcasts or a live chat inbox, ManyChat does much more. ### Can SayPage message all my followers? No. SayPage only DMs people who comment one of your keywords, within Instagram's rules. It cannot send broadcasts, message someone first, or read your DMs. ### Can SayPage collect emails? Not in the DM. Your page can link to a form (Tally, Typeform, Google Forms) or embed a Typeform. ### Can I use SayPage and ManyChat together? Yes: ManyChat automations can send links to SayPage pages. Just don't run both on the same post and keyword, or followers get two DMs. ### How does SayPage count contacts? Contacts are the different people your automations DM in a calendar month. Someone already DMed this month never counts twice. The free plan includes 50 a month. ### Is it within Instagram's rules? Yes. SayPage uses Instagram's official API, sends the link only after the person taps the first DM, and never sends outside Instagram's 24-hour messaging window. ## Sources - [ManyChat pricing](https://manychat.com/pricing) - [ManyChat: free plan](https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/25800197498652-Free-plan) - [ManyChat: Auto-DM links from comments](https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/16654065283100-Quick-Automation-Auto-DM-links-from-comments) - [ManyChat: messaging windows](https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/23358636027932-Understanding-messaging-windows)
